Charlene started her career in the medical transcription industry in 1980, honing transcription skills doing clinic transcription for Los Angeles area physicians working under the tutelage of her mom, and never looked back. Char has been involved in the management and growth of several transcription businesses over the years, most recently doubling the growth of Pikes Peak Transco, Inc., several years in a row until it was acquired by MD-IT August 2009. Charlene earned her credentials as a Certified Medical Transcriptionist in October 2008 and became actively involved with our industry partner, AHDI. Currently, Char serves on the Colorado AHDI Board as a Director, and also for the Pikes Peak Chapter of AHDI as President-Elect 2010.
