Karen has 20 years experience working in healthcare, with 15 of those years directly involved in medical transcription. Her clinical experience includes serving as administrator of a radiology department in a major trauma center in St. Petersburg, where she managed their transition from a totally manual to a totally automated records system. She has been an MTSO owner since 1987, specializing in ambulatory surgery and radiology departments. Karen earned her bachelors degree in Business Management from St. Petersburg College.
